For years, Nandodyne has specialized in the manufacture of quality engineering equipment. At Nandodyne we provide mixers for liquid/powder mixing for a wide range of materials & batch sizes. The new model unit provides a simple, effective & sanitary means to incorporate the powder into liquids even at higher viscosity and at elevated temperatures. This induction mixer has a semi-automated system designed for bulk powder dispersion & ultra sanitary applications.

How It Works?
Nandodyne Inline mixer has powerful suction which forces liquid and solid materials upwards from the bottom of the vessel and into the centre of the work head. The stator and rotor create a centrifugal force which drives material towards the periphery of the work head where they are subjected to a milling action. The material expelled from the head goes toward the side of the mixing vessel, at the same time fresh material is continually drawn into the work head maintaining the mixing cycle. This way it gives the expected result in a shorter time.
Operation Process & Performance
- It’s a unique method of incorporating powder into liquid, producing an agglomerate-free & homogenous product.
- The self-pumping ability recirculates liquid from the process vessel through the rotor/stator worked at high velocity.
- The powder feed valve is opened, and the high pumping action of the mixer forces the powder into the liquid stream.
- The powder & liquid components are introduced straight into the high shear zone of the mixer and are instantaneously combined as they are subjected to intense mechanical & hydraulic shear. The resultant liquid mix is pumped back into the vessel.
Product Specification
Material Construction: All product contact parts are in ss 316. (special material on request)
Motor Specification: Standard motors are readily available. An explosion-proof motor and stainless steel motor are provided as per request.
Inlet and outlet connection: TC-clamp fitting type is standard. Another fitting option is available on request.
Sealing: Hygienic single and double mechanical balanced/unbalanced seals are available depending on the product.
Cleaning: Designed for Cleaning-In-Place (CIP).
Hopper: Various hopper designs are available depending on product and volume. Vibrator in option.
Automation: Pneumatic valve can be coupled to a powder sensor for a semi-automatic process, this will be an option.
Interchange Mixing Head
General Purpose
Used for a wide range of applications, this head will give the greatest throughput. Suitable for blending liquids of similar or greatly varying viscosities and disintegration of solids and semi-solid materials.
Rectangular Hole
This screen provides an exceptionally high shear rate which is ideal for the rapid size reduction of soluble and insoluble granular solids and is suitable for fine emulsions, gels, thickeners and colloidal suspensions.
Slotted Disintegrating Head
For fibrous materials such as rubber, and animal and vegetable tissue, as well as disintegration and solubilisation.
Round Hole Emulsion
This screen is suitable for liquid/liquid preparation and is especially useful for all emulsions. Emulsion screens are available in fine, medium or coarse perforations.
